Live Blood Cell Microscopy

Live Blood Cell Microscopy is a very accurate method of analyzing the state of your health. It differs from traditional medical blood testing where preserved blood is sent to a laboratory for testing chemical composition and blood cell counts. Live Blood Cell Microscopy (also known as Dark Field Microscopy) analyses living blood. A single drop of blood is taken from a finger prick and magnified 1,500 times under a special dark field condensing microscope. This powerful instrument is equipped with a video camera and projects the image of your living blood to LCD monitor revealing a multitude of microscopic activity. Because blood can survive for at least 20 minutes on a microscope slide, it is possible to observe certain blood subtleties not possible under traditional medical blood tests. This is why it is such a powerful analytical tool.

Detecting Nutritional Imbalances
Live blood analysis can reveal a great deal about imbalances in the body and conditions that can lead to future illness. While it is not a diagnostic procedure for any specific illness, it can indicate various levels of acidity in the blood terrain. Acidity promotes the growth of bacteria, viruses, parasites and even cancer.

Other conditions that can be detected include:

  • Bacterial activity
  • Blood Sugar imbalances
  • Bowel toxicity
  • Candida yeast overgrowth
  • Cholesterol and plaques
  • Congestion of the circulatory system
  • Digestive problems
  • Dehydration
  • Essential fatty acid deficiency
  • Free radical damage and the need for antioxidant protection
  • Food sensitivities
  • Health of red blood cells
  • Heavy metal and chemical contamination
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Inflammation
  • Kidney Stress
  • Liver and Gallbladder stress
  • Low oxygen environment
  • Lymphatic congestion
  • Outer cell adhesion (vitamin C levels)
  • Parasites
  • pH deregulation
  • Poor fat assimilation
  • Strength of the immune system
  • Undigested protein (leaky gut syndrome)
  • Uric Acid Crystals
  • Vitamins, minerals deficiencies (B12, iron, folic acid)
Dry Blood Analysis
Dry Blood Analysis, also known as the “Oxidative Stress Test”, complements Live Blood Analysis and assesses the level of free radical activity in the body. Excessive free radical activity is associated with degenerative disease conditions such as Cancer, Heart Disease, Strokes, Memory Loss, Arthritis and Cataracts. This test can also indicate the presence of heavy metals, bowel toxicity, inflammation, vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
Will it help me?
If you have health challenges that have yet to be uncovered by traditional medical diagnosis or testing, then Live Blood Analysis can provide definite clues as to what is happening inside your body. The microcosm of living blood, by its very nature, is always reflective of your current state of health.
A Nutritional Feedback System
Seeing your own blood on a large video display is a great motivator to improve dietary habits. It acts as a “nutritional feedback system” reflecting the impact of positive eating habits and lifestyle adjustments and how they can improve the structure of your blood in as little as a few months.
Consultations
Our Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) can customize a dietary, nutritional and lifestyle management program designed to improve your blood profile and ultimately your long term health. Periodic monitoring ensures that you maintain good health. Initial consultations are 1.5 - 2 hrs and include an analysis of a health questionnaire that is filled out prior to the first visit. Follow-up consultations are 1 hr in length.
Payment Coverage
Nutritional consultation may be covered under some progressive private health care insurance programs.
